Description: We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The Marketing Specialist ensures that clients and referrers have an exceptional experience with our firm. Furthermore, they oversee the firm’s online presence and content development. Additionally, they will be required, at times, to connect with referrers and clients. Our clients are worried about their families and futures, and this position will help further our mission of providing them with hope and peace of mind through Relational Estate Planning®. This position is primarily for our Winchester location, although occasional days in our Ashburn office will be required. There is opportunity for advancement and growth as our firm grows.

Salary: $40,000 – $70,000

  • Manage Online Marketing:
    • Manage Online Advertising Campaigns
    • Manage Website
    • Manage Newsletters
    • Manage Website Blog Posts
    • Manage Social Media Platforms
    • Manage Google Presence and SEO Growth
    • Keep all Online Marketing Processes Up to Date
  • Manage Referral Marketing:
    • Plan and Work with CEO to Continue Relationships with Current Professional Referrers
    • Plan and Work with CEO to Identify and Encourage Relationships with Prospective Professional Referrers
    • Manage Admin Side of Professional Referrers:
      • Keep HubSpot and Clio information and notes up to date
      • Schedule Referrers for Meeting with CEO
      • Manage Gifts Sent to Professional Referrers
      • Attend Networking Groups and Events to Connect with both Current and Prospective Professional Referrers
      • Keep all Referral Marketing Processes Up to Date
  • Manage Client Marketing:
    • Regularly Evaluate and Improve Client Experience
    • Brainstorm and Implement Ways to Surprise and Delight Clients Throughout Their Time With Our Firm
    • Manage Ongoing Relationship with Current and Former Clients
    • Keep all Client Marketing Processes Up to Date
    • Create Written Content Directed Towards the Needs of Clients
  • Manage Firm Branding and Community Involvement:
    • Identify Events and Causes to Involve Firm In
    • Organize and Manage Community Events Hosted by Firm

Skills Required

  • Ability to build relationships with clients, referrers, and team members
  • Ability to identify various target audiences’ pain points and provide content that meets those pain points to build connection with audiences
  • Ability to stay connected to big picture goals
  • Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
  • Ability to plan, track, test, and report on various projects and campaigns
  • Ability to delegate tasks and manage various team members
  • Ability to embody and represent firm mission and values to clients, referrers, and the community
  • Strong in writing, proofing, editing, revising, spelling and grammar
  • At least 1 year of marketing experience is required
