Hi, I’m Scott.

As an Estate Planning attorney at Relational Estate & Elder Law, I believe a well-crafted plan is one of the most meaningful ways to care for family and loved ones. I’m passionate about helping clients create plans that reflect their values, bring clarity, and offer peace of mind for the future. My goal is to make the planning process approachable, informative, and focused on what matters most to each individual and family.

Before joining the team, I practiced law in Lynchburg, Virginia, and the surrounding counties, focusing on Estate Planning, family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. I especially enjoyed serving as a Guardian ad litem, representing children’s best interests in difficult family situations. That work gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of protecting people, not just property. I also worked in the insurance industry, where I sharpened my skills in asset protection and built strong client relationships, which continues to shape my approach today.

Originally from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, I now live in Inwood, West Virginia with my wife, our two children, and our German Shepherds, Maggie and Max. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me on the golf course, cheering on the Phillies, Eagles, or Nittany Lions, or enjoying a good rock concert.
